Camp Cedar Glen provides a unique experience for our youth who attend. We offer Summer Camps specially designed for Elementary, Junior High, and Senior High students. Each program allows each camper to grow in interpersonal skills where they are able to open in shared dialogue with their small group, escape the busyness of their schedule by engaging in nature, and strengthen their faith by participating in our curriculum created with United Methodists in mind.

Grades 6-9
Preliminary Dates: July 11 – July 17, 2021

Campers are beginning to move from concrete ideas to abstract ideas and introducing Christianity can get a little confusing. Conversations are centered around building a better understanding of the parables and how campers can reflect the message in their daily lives.  Campers will be able to better relate to their Christian faith and make sense of their role in the world around them. In between family groups, campers experience a wonderful array of worship, music, food, nature, and other activities

Grades 9 - Graduating Senior
Preliminary Dates: June 27 – July 3, 2021

Senior High Camp is the last stage of the campers’ Cedar Glen faith journey.  Campers are fully challenged in their family groups with rich dialogue deep with spiritual and emotional conversations. These conversations often deal with how we can better bring God’s Kingdom to “Earth as it is in Heaven” as Methodists and how we can make sense of what is currently going on in this secular world. Doubts and IDKs are encouraged and praised as they are often tools that doesn’t weakened faith but strengthens faith as each camper learns from each other. In between family groups, campers experience a wonderful array of worship, music, food, nature, and other activities.

Camp Cedar Glen will always be my second home. The memories and friends I've made at camp will stay with me for the for the rest of my life. I always have a chance to connect with myself, my church community, and God.

 - Frances, Camper

Camp Cedar Glen is a staple for our summer since it is a safe place for kids to connect with God and each other. It's a place where they can be the church. It is our son's favorite place on earth!
